The magnet must come into direct and full contact with steel in order to achieve maximum holding power, so it is important to ensure that the magnet is flat. It is best to apply the magnet and adhesive at temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit or 15.56 degrees Celsius for optimal performance. To achieve the best results: 1) Let the magnet reach room temperature, then use heavy-duty scissors or a hobby knife to cut it. 2) Place the dark gray side of the magnet on a large metal surface for several hours to flatten any curl, without rolling it in the opposite direction. 3) Clean the surface where the adhesive will be applied with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. 4) Remove the liner from the adhesive and stick the item to it. 5) Apply firm pressure to ensure the adhesive bonds with the surface. 6) Allow the adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours, or 72 hours for maximum bonding.
